The warm brick-and-timber dining room at Banchan Korean Eatery

Family-owned · Johannesburg · Since 2016

Korean food, made with heritage & heart.

Come for a table full of house-made banchan, grill-your-own barbecue and fried chicken. Stay for the warmth of a Korean family table.

Authentic Korean BBQ

Welcome home

Not simply dinner. A Korean table.

At Banchan, kimchi, tofu, sauces and marinades are made in-house with pride. Korean-imported table settings and built-in grills bring the ritual of Korean dining to the middle of Parkmore.

You may hear jeo-gi-yo, imo or unni called across the room. That lively, familiar sound is part of the point: this is food designed to be shared, passed around and remembered.

What the kitchen does

Smoke, sizzle, crunch.
